what else should I know?
do I need any experience?+
no. we start from zero: wind window, safety systems and kite control on the beach, then water.
do I need to bring gear?+
no. instructor + bbtalking radio + harness + board + kite + bar are included in the price.
how long until I ride on my own?+
12 h, about 8 lessons. if you don't stand on the board after the course we return your money.
can I swim badly?+
you must be able to swim. a life vest is provided, but basic swimming skills are required for safety.
what should I bring?+
you should bring swimsuit, sunscreen, water and a towel. everything else is waiting for you at the spot.
what if there is no wind?+
we don't teach in wrong wind — it slows you down. the lesson moves to another slot, free of charge.
do I learn alone or in a group?+
the discovery lesson is a small group, up to 4 people. every lesson after that is 1 to 1 — one student, one instructor.
is kitesurfing dangerous?+
not if you learn it in the right order. safety systems come first, then the kite. instructors are IKO / VDWS certified, there is a safety boat on site, and we hear each other on radio the whole session.
why two spots?+
Paramali and Robinson catch different wind directions. we pick the one that works on the day and tell you where to come.
